Richland Heights East Neighborhood Association
Welcome to the Richland Heights East Neighborhood Association (RHENA) website! The Richland Heights East (RHE) neighborhood is a centrally located neighborhood in Tucson, Arizona, bordered by Campbell Ave to the west, Tucson Blvd to the east, Prince Rd to the north, and Ft Lowell Rd to the south. Richland Heights East includes more than 270 homes, almost 30 businesses, and over 800 residents. In 1994, the residents of RHE established a Neighborhood Association registered with the City of Tucson.
RHENA Vision Statement
The present quality of the Richland Heights East neighborhood - open space, naturally vegetated, low-density residential, complementary to the southwestern desert environment - should be preserved and enhanced. A high quality of life will be maintained through active planning and resident involvement, focusing on guiding development and improving neighborhood safety.
RHENA Mission Statement
The Richland Heights East Neighborhood Association:
Works to protect and improve the quality and unique nature of the neighborhood, complementary to the southwestern desert environment.
Promotes a sense of community by providing mechanisms for communication among residents.
Encourages participation of neighborhood residents and homeowners working together to enhance the livability, safety, welfare and interests of residents, and to preserve and enhance property values for homeowners.
Represents the neighborhood with Ward 3, City, County, State and Federal agencies.
