On Sunday, February 16, 2025, the Chili Guys* hosted the 3rd Chili Competition in RHE. They blocked off Kleindale Rd between Olsen & Wilson, set up tables for serving the chili and some tables & chairs for the judges. The cost to enter a chili in the competition was $5.00, and the cost to eat & vote for your favorites was $1.00.

The Chili Cook-Off Committee wants to give a huge shoutout to all the bold, fearless Chili Chefs who threw caution to the wind and served up their best creations last week. You took a leap into the great unknown—one pot of chili at a time—and we loved every bite!

A big thank you also goes out to everyone who whipped up side dishes and desserts—because what’s chili without a little extra on the side? And of course, to all of you who came from every corner of the neighborhood to taste, vote, and enjoy the day with us, we couldn’t have done it without you!

We had 8 Chefs this year and 9 fine chilis! It was a wonderful, relaxed event and the weather was divine.
